Sunday, September 21, 2014 Most Expensive Shoes: Jason Arasheben breaks Guinness World Records Los Angeles, CA, USA -- Famed jewelry designer Jason Arasheben, CEO Jason of Beverly Hills, was commissioned by Nick Cannon to create an all-diamond pair of shoes; over 14,000 full cut round brilliant white diamonds were individually set onto white gold with a total carat weight of 340 carats; it took nearly one year and over 2,000 man-hours to perfect the bedazzled Tom Ford soles; the shoes are valued at $2 million, setting the new world record for the Most Expensive Shoes, according to the World Record Academy:www.worldrecordacademy.com/. (enlarge photo) The Guinness World Records' record for the most people polishing shoes is 451 and was achieved by MSSL Mideast (FZE) in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the longest chain of shoes; it consisted of 24,962 shoes and was achieved by The Shoeman Water Projects at Stankowski Field at the University of Missouri, Columbia, USA.
