Fashion vs Style

We have all seen many posted articles about the difference between "Fashion" vs "Style". I'm not here to judge but rather, I'm here to make it simple. Although they both go hand in hand, at the end of the day the reality is this.... "Fashion is what you buy in a store, Style is what you do with it".... and that my friends is the hard truth.
Let me remind you that "Style" has nothing to do with how much money one person has or how much you spend on a pair of shoes or jeans or shirt or jacket. Many think they are stylish just because they're wearing the most expensive designer items they just bought yet little do they know, they stick out like a sore thumb and not because they look great but because they don't know how to put themselves together and look absolutely ridiculous. Then you have this other person, as frugal as can be who might not be wearing those thousand dollar items and can only afford to shop at inexpensive second hand/vintage stores or other, yet they look sharp and like a million dollars nonethelesss. Now don't get me wrong, you can indeed have tons of designer clothes and be super stylish or be frugal with zero style too. The point I'm trying to make is that style is something someone either has or has not.
Let's face it, there are things that people put together which for whatever reason, just deosn't look good. It can be something as simple as a choice of colors, where the combination just isn't right or it can be something like trying to be too bold and mixing too many patterns, etc., etc., there are many reasons. It's like everything else in life.... There are things that don't taste good, there are things that don't smell good, there are things that don't feel good and there are certainly things that don't look good. Some have style and unfortunately, some do not and that's that!! ;-)
